A second day on road bike, from Hillboro Village to Percy Warner Park, over the 11.2, then back. Two hours or so. Then ran 4 miles, it was hot by then. I hit the hill by International Market along the way, that must be about a 20% incline. I am starting to get my mind around the idea that hills are your friends in training, not the enemy. With all the barefoot hoopla, and having just read Born to Run a few weeks ago, I have been thinking about form more. Yesterday and today, I was concentrating only on midfoot strike, lever, lift. I realize if I really concentrate on it that I am a heavy heelstriker normally. Discouraging that I have gotten so far in to it with such bad form. There is always more to work on and more to learn.
